What about wind?
When I was heading out of San Fran we went past the most amazing landscape of thousands of wind turbines. While they may not be capable of being the only answer to sustainable energy, they certainly should be a bigger part of the solution in an agricultural country like Australia. I'm particularly interested that cattle can graze on the land at the same time meaning the space can be used to further potential. And i think they look amazing which seems to be the greatest argument against them. And surely anything looks better than a nuclear power plant? Can you imagine what the cows would look like if they grazed near there?

let there be light

nyc is enlightening in so many unexpected ways, but i think my favourite thing is simply the light. each hour passing can be felt and seen and colours sharpen and shine and diffuse again.

with that many lady shoes someone was always gonna get hurt.

sign of the times

i found these signs over the past few weeks, they all have their own thing going on. i like the way they punctuate the space and infer a new meaning. A bump in the bump, no standing only seesawing, and the red nose on the reindeer found in the hollywood hills.

there were so many good reasons to get out of bed.

i'm bored of being a cynic. this is my new blog dedicated to things that makes my happy. let's start my bubbles. From KL to NYC. It would take a hard nosed cynic to deny the word of bubbles..
