Buttercup the Sloth

This is Buttercup the Sloth, the first inhabitant of the Sloth Sanctuary in Cuhuita, Limon Costa Rica. Over the last 18 years they have rescued hundreds of sloths, many which cannot be returned to the wild so they care for them for the rest of their lives. We stayed their overnoght and were privy to the baby sloths being fed and weighed in the morning. They are incredible creatures. For more info http://www.slothrescue.org/
